I have been reflecting on this painting that was inspired from a dream when my children were all still in elementary school.  I dreamt that I was lying on my back on our backyard deck and all of these ducks were landing as I was reaching up to embrace them. I was showing my children how to receive or to connect to soul—to be open to it with wide open arms. How happy the ducks are particularly the one in my arms looking at my children with such love such connection.  This is important because this is also what I am teaching my clients to do--to be open to experience their own souls--that the face we turn to the unconscious is the face it turns to us.
